Salsabila Akhyari is a someone who has switched her career from being an English teacher at a private elementary school to being a graphic designer. A someone who has dream of pursuing her education to get master degree in the university. Although I've been a junior graphic designer for a year, I'm always learning and improving my graphic design skills every day. I can also create flyers for social media, posters, banners, brochures, and digital magazines for school and community clients. I'm also still learning video editing, CorelDraw, and public relations skills in this increasingly advanced digital era. 

A girl who enjoys inspiring television presenters in both Indonesia and Malaysia, like as Nizal Mohammad, Zainal Ariffin Ismail, Ezzah Aziz Fawzy, Azura Karim, Zakiah Anas, Suhaimi Sulaiman, Norliza Mohd Zain, Kamarudin Mape, Frisca Clarissa, Aiman Witjaksono and Heranof Albasyir. She enjoys watching the adventure, animal, and nature documentary programs. She also enjoys feature programs and cultural documentaries that support cultures around the world. 

Salsabila likes to explore graphic design, public relations, communication science and educational research because Salsa has a dream to work as a graphic designer at a virtual office in the future. Then Salsa prefers working in a virtual office rather than a physical office because she is more energetic working virtually than working on the spot.

Salsabila lives in Jakarta and she is ready to work in a virtual office, both domestically and internationally. She is also ready to work and collaborate with all clients, both domestic and international.

The Reasons Why I Switch My Career from Working in Education Sectors to Working in Creative and Media Sectors

The Salary of Graphic Designer is Higher than The Salary of English Teacher   If I work as a graphic designer in a virtual office, I can earn a salary above the regional minimum wage, ranging from five million to fifteen million rupiah. Furthermore, I can pay for my housing expenses and save for the future. Meanwhile, if I work as an English teacher at a school, I earn below the regional minimum wage, ranging from two hundred thousands to nine hundred thousands rupiah. However, my salary is not enough to pay for my housing expenses and save for the future. If I needed more money, I would have to find a side job besides teaching English at school. I had to work virtually as a graphic designer from home to increase my income and pay for my household expenses. Because my economic needs were increasing and my salary wasn't enough to pay my living expenses, I had to start a business besides teaching English at school at that time.  There wasn't Training for Teachers at My Work...
